Image shows as an icon?

Hello,

I have an OLE object on a form where I keep a digital image. Sometimes when
I try to insert an image (I choose insert from file) I select the image, but
it only shows up as an icon. Can someone point in the right direction why
some images show up as an icon (even when "display as icon" is not checked)
and some show up as the image?
