import excel - Field options problem

When I import an Excel file, I can only change the options
of the first imported column, when i select another column
the field options don't change it keeps showing the
options of the first column.

I reinstalled office but it stay the same.
Is there something wrong with the import wizard ?

What can i do ?

Hi Frederik,

Possibly the problem is one I've often experienced myself:

To select another column in the wizard, you have to (1) use the
horizontal scroll bar of the preview box to ensure the column is visible
in the preview box, and (2) click in the column itself. The column then
changes from black text on a white background to white text on a black
background.

It's very easy to just the scroll bar to position the column at the left
hand side of the preview box, and then forget the second step of
actually clicking in it.
