Import project assignments to Outlook calendar

I have seen information that says that the "Import Project Assignments"
button in Outlook only imports the assignments and creates calendar events
(not tasks). Please let me know if this is correct.

Also, as a work around, I created an additional calendar and wanted to
import tasks to the new calendar. Is there a way to force Project
Assignments to be imported to a particular calendar?

Hi lmcgahee,

Yes, PWA will only create Outlook Calendar tasks. They're kind of a hybrid
between Outlook Tasks and appointments.

The only way I have been able to segregate the PWA generated tasks from
people's regular calendar appointments is to make a custom calendar view that
filters in only PWA tasks. Alternately, I have people filter out PWA tasks
from their normal calendar views.
