Import slides being trashed.

I'm trying to import slides from another ppt presentation. When the slides
are imported, the receiving file slide master inserts unwanted stuff on the
newly imported slides. How do I keep the imported slides clean?

Try right mouse click and choose background. Check the box that says, omit
background and graphics from master. Then click APPLY. Do not apply it to
all your slides or you will lose the background on them all.

What version of PowerPoint are you using? Not all versions allow multiple
masters and that might be your problem. See
