Importing Word file into Publisher 2002

When I try to insert a Word 2003 document into Publisher
2002 I get a generic error message. When I try to paste
the document it fills the first text box but then stops -
the paste does not spill over into additional text boxes.

Questions:
1) Is there a way to do this in V2002?
2) Will upgrading to V2003 solve my problem

You need to create a second text box and link the two. The text will flow, Publisher
will create new text boxes automatically as needed.

Thanks for the reply. I did as you suggested and the word
file was inserted properly. The tables were shrunk, but
selecting the tables caused them to expand to full size.

The only other problem was that some (but not all) the
jpeg images were very dark. Adjusting the
brightness/contrast in Publisher was only partly
successful. Is there a solution to this problem?

What happens when you copy/paste the images individually? Do you have the images in a
different file so you can insert rather than paste? .jpgs are not the best, every
time you edit one, they degrade. Try converting them to .png.

I copied the images from the word file and pasting them
in Publisher. I have used Insert Picture from file. In
both cases, the images looked fine.

I do have one problem however. My pictures are in a
table. When I try to put the picture in a cell using
either of the two methods above, the pictures are
inserted outside the table.
