Improving resolution of photos

G

Gary

Have been attempting to import photos from Corel Gallery
1,000,000. I am creating flyers then coverting to web
pages. Is there a way to improve the resolution on these
photos so that when they are enlarged you don't lose
clarity from the pixels?

This would be controlled by a graphics editting program. If they are vector
based, you shouldn't lose resolution when expanding. Programs similar to
PhotoDraw 2000v2 can stretch images without losing quality (to a point of
course). Publisher cannot control image resolution in regards to your
specific needs.

You can't really "add" data to an image without possibly making them worse
than they were.

What is the resolution of the images you are importing? Do you have choices
(some formats have multiple resolutions stored within a single fle)? What is
the format (i.e. what is the extension)?

Are you importing them via a copy-and-paste process or are you importing
them the proper way (Insert -> Picture)

Gary,
As mentioned, Microsoft PhotoDraw is an excellent program for this. Too bad it is no longer in production (excellent save for web interface program).
You need a photo editing program to do this correctly, ie:
JASC Paint Shop Pro
Adobe Photoshop, or Photoshop Elements
All the above offer free trial downloads you can try.
