I am designing a sign for the side of my van with my details on and would

Hello Mike, You are going to have to tell me what PP11 and PP10 are, PowerPoint?

Mary,

Sorry about that - I'm more accustomed to posting in the Serif forum.
PagePlus.

I would use WordArt for this. It's a high quality vector based object that
lets you choose your slant. WordArt is on your object toolbar, which runs
along the left side of the of the Publication window.

Brian,

Apparently not the same. One doesn't have to use Word Art or Artistic
Text, just use the arrows on the tool to set the direction and amount of
slant. It can be done for as many letters as one wants, even in the
middle of a sentence.

Ah yes..different. But when making a sign/logo for the side of a van, it's
unlikely they will have paragraphs/sentences. A vector image such as WordArt
will work great for sign/vinyl output for vans vs. using a text box.

TrueType fonts are just as much vector objects as WordArt.

WordArt would give more control over the other aspects of the appearance of
the text compared to a standard text box, though, which may be desirable on
a large sign.

Yup. That is my point.
