Inactive Enterprise Resouces with remaining work popup

We had a number of people leave the company. When their AD accounts were
disabled, Project automatically changed them to inactive. My issue is that
each time I open up a project that has these 4 resources assigned, it pops up
a message that says:
"This project has inactive enterprise resources with remaining work.
Inactive enterprise resources such as:
<lists names>
have remaining work.....etc....."

All of their remaining work is zero for tasks they had put time towards.
All other tasks they were assigned I replaced their names or removed them
from the tasks.

This message is getting annoying and I'm about ready to just reactivate them
so I don't have to see it every time. Not sure what to do to get rid of the
message each time I open a project.

Drake,

If you check the "Load Summary Resources" box when logging in and other
projects on the server have these resources with remaining work it will also
appear in your schedule. You can uncheck the box and if the pop-up goes away
you will know. I think there is also a bug associated with the actual work
and remaining work fields when it loads the sumary resources information
making them the same which causes the pop-up even when there is no remaining
work. Best option is to uncheck the "Load Summary Resources"
