InBeded ODBC Connection in Powerpoint?

Can you ship an ODBC connection with powerpoint? I.E point to a sever that
has data. I understand that I can create an odbc contection and then navigate
via powerpoint to the server but I want this to be automatically be there

Yes you can do this. I posted some code written by Naresh Nichani, a
fellow MVP for this a while back. But so did Shyam Pillai.
