inbox folders

Hi,
Whenever I create a new folder under the inbox it gets set
up with just the minimum of fields. The From and received
date field don't show. They show just fine in the in box.
I can add the fields with field chooser but isn't there a
way to set a default so that new folders all have the same
fields.
