Incorrect finish date and duration when leveling - bug?

Hello,

When leveling resources in MS Project 2007 I get completely off the chart
finish dates on some tasks. The finish date typically could be about 30 years
from now, but duration for the particular task is still 1 day. This happens
on some tasks and I have tried to figure our what the common denominator is
for these tasks, but don't get it. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and
how I solve it?

I might have discovered it! The MS Project file I am working on was created
by someone else and contained actal work. The hours where registered on tasks
using % complete, or possibly actual work when several of the tasks where
scheuduled in the future, thus MSP created actual work six months ahead of
current date. When removing the resources assigned to the tasks containing
actual work, the problem went away!
