Information from Excel to Project

I'm building a plan in project and need to have the percentages updated every
day from my excel spreadsheet. Is there any way to have this information
updated automatically when I update my excel, or do I have to continue to
copy and paste? Is there a vlookup function in project that I can use to pull
information from excel autimatically?

Adding to Jan's post - you will need a way to programatically tie the tasks
in Project to the lines in Excel. The UniqueID field in Project would be the
best selection.

Something to consider - if your %Complete post from Excel causes a task to
start early or is not 100% on the task finish date, you may want to set a
Flag field so you can further examine what to do next. You can also maek
those decisions with your VBA.
