insert object from word

I'm trying to create a handbook using many wword documents. The ones
that are one page long are no problem. But the ones that are more than
one page long dont get inserted properly--that is, powerpoint only
inserts the first page and skips the rest. Is there a way to get PPT to
insert ALL pages of the word document into the presentation?

How are you inserting the Word files?

If you're using Insert|Object|Create From File, then it is inserting all the
pages in the Word document, but it's only displaying the top one.
Double-click the Word object on the slide and you'll see what I mean -- you
can scroll in it using your middle mouse button.

If you need to display all the pages, you might want to take screenshots of
each page, save them as pictures (PNG works well for this stuff), and use
Insert|Picture|From File to insert. You can batch insert images as well --
