insert picture from web link

I want to be able to use Word to create a web page. I also want to link
pictures that I already have online to the word document, so I can change
them easily via the GUI. Every time I've tried to link or copy the image to
the word document, it simply copies the image to the hard drive and inserts
it from there. Then when I take the web page online, it's looking for an
image from my hard drive, and obvoiusly can't find it. How do I get this to
work? (IE. I want the same functionality as <img
src="http://www.google.com/intl/en/images/logo.gif">.)

Hi Steve,

You can use Insert=>Picture=>From File and paste the
URL/Link there as one choice. You can also use
Insert=>Field and use an IncludePicture field using
the 'link' option code.

If you're using Word for a public web page save an
original/master as a .DOC file for later updating;
choose your picture and
browser compatability, file folder choices etc in
Tools=>Options=>General=>[Web Options], and then
for the final web page use the File=>Save As Web page-Filtered
