Insert slides from a different presentation, but losing formatting

Katrin

I have 2 presentations that are both created from the same template I have
created. When I try to insert slides from one to the other, the font size
changes in the title area. Any idea why and how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

More info.... 2 separate users created separate presentations, but both used
the same template. When trying to combine the two by inserting one into the
other the title area font formatting gets all screwy. Could different
versions of powerpoint be causing this?

What size is the title text on the master slide?

What size does the title text become when you paste the slides?

What happens if you reapply the slide layout?

Which version of PPT? If 2002/2003, just use the "keep source formatting"
option when you paste.

It could be that one of the people modified the title area and used a font that
you don't have. You can never trust users. <G>

Woohoo!

I did not know about the reapply layout trick. That worked! I was just
reapplying the template and not the layout.

Thank you much! Saved me lots of work and time!
