Inserting a pdf file into a slide.

When inserting a pdf file into a slide the file contents
do not show. Just an icon for a pdf file appears with the
file name under it. How can I get the file contents to
show on the slide?

Publisher suc.............Saving PDF as graphic will take times, lower the quality and will increase size. I have hunreds of PDF files to be insert therefore no time to convert it. Can't believe such a big and expensive software doesn't have that feature. I better stich with Adobe product
