Inserting a Windows window ??

I 'am working on a word doc and I need to insert a picture of my (my
documents folder when it is open. like a complete screen shot as you are
looking at the monitor.

Hi,
Not really a Powerpoint question. But you can use your PrintScreen key (for
a complete picture of your screen) or AltGr+PrtScreen to capture an opened
dialogue box. Of course you can use screen capturing software like Irfanview
or SnagIt to accomplish what you want, I believe Irfanview is free but I am
not sure. Once you captured your screen you can paste it into Word. Use Edit
Paste or Paste special or use ctrl+v with the keyboard.
