Inserting Custom Fields

Hello. I've got a fair amount of experience in Word
creating and inserting custom fields into a template. I'd
like to be able to do the same in Publisher. I went to
File > Properties > Custom and assigned a value to a
field that I want to insert in several places in my
template. However, I don't see how to insert fields in
Publisher the way I insert fields in Word.
