Inserting images doesn't work

Webmaster Dave

I've used FP2000 for a long time. Then I bought a computer with FP as part
of OfficeXP. So I'm used to using it, too. Now I am trying FP2003 for the
first time. If I insert an image (a .jpg), it says FP doesn't recognize that
file type, and won't insert it. I did manage to get an image into a page
(somehow-I can't remember how), but it only shows a small square box with the
"X" in it. If I look at the code, the "%20" is missing in the image source
coding. It wrote the code in plain english with spaces instead of using
"%20". I can edit an existing working page with FP2003, and "%20" is there.
I've looked in the Tools menus to see if there is something that needs a
checkmaark in a box or something, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Why
doesn't FP2003 write code properly? Hyperlinks don't get written properly
either, and they don't work.

1) make sure you image File name does not have spaces in it
(breaks links as a space is converted to %20)
2) File import you image into your FP web/site
3) drag it on the page from Folder List View to see the correct link format
