inserting images inline

how do you insert images in body of message, so you see img in body of
message, as opposed to just being an attachment? I looked in Help, did
what it says, set format to HTML and turned on "send images from
internet" but still when I insert an image it gets inserted as an
attachment, not inline.. thank you..
