Inserting items in a message

When I open the Insert Item tool, Outlook items in one particular subfolder
are Grouped by date. I want to remove that grouping so I can sort by "From",
but I can't figure out how. If I open the subfolder directly they items are
simply listed, not grouped. This makes it hard to sort and find items I want
to attach to a message.
