I am having a problem whenever I am typing an e-mail in Outlook. If I go back to a word I just typed and try to insert a character, the character is inserted with spaces around it. For example, if I accidentally type "microsft" and then go back and try to insert the missing "o", it ends up looking like "micros o ft". I then have to delete the spaces around it. I have tried hitting the insert button on my keyboard, in which case it will insert the "o" without the extra spaces. However, if I continue to type, it will type over the remaining text. This only happens to me in Outlook, not in other Office applications. How do I remedy the situation?
