Install MS Office 200 Premium

When installing MS Office 2000, I get an error pop-up window, label Microsoft
Server Extensions, and an error: "Unable to access configuration for MS
Personal Web Server". But after that all components (outlook, excel ..) work,
except Word. It would hangup when trying to open it.

I never have this problem when installing on other old computers.

Thanlks,
LP

When instaling Off2000 Premium it installs Front Page also. On installation Front page on 2000 Premium is looking for the Front Page server extensions. Go to Control Panel\Add Windows Components and install the Personal Web Server

I think I found the source of problem.
I suspected the Notton Antivirus (2005) somehow interfered with my XP Media
Center edition. So after re-installed the original software on the computer
as shipped, I removed the Norton, and installed MS Office 2000 without any
problem.
Thanks for the reply post anyway.
