I have a computer that came with a Works Suite installed (It includes
Microsoft Word 2002). Word is installed in
C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftOffice. I just purchased Microsoft Office 2000
Professional. I want to install all programs from 2000 (PowerPoint,
Excel, Outlook etc.) except Word 2000 (Because I have 2002). Someone
said that I need to uninstall Word 2002, install the Office 2000 apps,
and reinstall Word 2002. This would be true if I was installing Word
2000 (Because you need to install the earlier version when multiple
versions are on the same computer). Do I need to uninstall Word 2002
first if I'm not installing Word 2000? I can custom install Office 2000
to C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosftOffice2000 a non-default (different folder)
than Word 2002. I really don't want to uninstall Word 2002 first but do
i have to? I'm going nuts trying to figure all this out. Someone please
help me. Any sugguestions & input are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
