Install Popup problems

I am having a very similar problem as this person

after installing MS Office 2003. I have seen a few popups of SW installing
(no ref to what program) when opening different applications, I think they
were all MS apps. Also, when opening Visio I had a popup ask for the Office
XP with Frontpage disk and when I put it in the disk drive it complains that
it can't open a file. I click cancel and the original program continues to
open with no problem. The worst case is with Outlook. Every time receiving
a new email this Install popup comes up, does its install (I don't know what)
and closes. It takes about 2 seconds. It will do this for every email as it
comes in.

There is an entry in "Add Remove Programs" for Office XP with Frontpage and
when I try to uninstall it I receive an error that it can't uninstall the
Patch. When I installed Office 2003 I think I selected the Upgrade option.
Should I try uninstalling 2003 and try reinstalling a complete install? How
do I get rid of Office XP with Frontpage it it won't uninstall?

Office2003 doesnt contain Frontpage, so an upgrade install wouldnt have
impacted on it.

You may be able to remove Officexp components via the officexp cd

Thanks for the response. I was not able to fix the problem with the install
CD nor was I able to uninstall through add/remove programs. I was able to
solve the problem by using the "Microsoft Installer Cleanup" application.
Worked like a charm.
