Install Same Office XP on multiple computers

E

Eric Scharf

I have installed a purchased version of Office XP on one
of my computers. I would like to take that same software
and install it on another of my computers.

I attempted this, and I got a message stating that I have
45 days to use the software until I have to purchase a new
license.

I am concerned that I will have to essentially purchase a
brand new copy of Office XP. Is there an inexpensive
alternative?

Thank You,

Eric Scharf

What edition of Office XP did you purchase? Office XP STE can be installed
on only one computer. Office XP retail can be installed on one desktop and
one portable, used by the same person but not simultaneously. Office XP
that comes with the computer from an OEM (purchased as a part of the compuer
packate) can only be installed on the computer on which it came.
