Installing 2003 Pro and Office Updates

When installing Office 2003 PRO it asked for Office 2000 disk-2. It finished install with that disk whcih surprised me. It appears to have installed ok and programs are working. When I searched/scanned for Office updates it indicated tOffice 2000 updates including SP1. Is this all ok and normal?
