Installing Office 2000 on new computer

I am using Office 2000 Standard on my current Windows 98
computer, which I purchased separately. I am buying a new
computer with Windows XP. Will I be able to install it on
the new computer, and will I have to uninstall it from the

How do you know that "Microsoft Office cost so much (More than the
operating system).

Actual it depends on the version, and license type of Microsoft office
you have. I guess I should of been clearer. (I not talking about
used copies)
