Installing Office 2000 Small Business Edition

S

Silverfox

I just reloaded Windows XP Home and I need to reinstall Office 2000. Do I
install the Windows SR-1 update before starting the Office 2000 Install, or
am I better off to load Office 2000, Office 2000 SR1 and then update XP to
SR-1? I have read somewhere that I would not be able to install Office 2000
if I had installed the XP SR-1 Service Release.

I would recommend updating Windows XP first. You need to get your system
patched against malicious attack. Once done, you should not have a problem
installing Office 2000.
