Installing Office 2007 on multiple computers

I'm really dense when it comes to computers. I have two computers. I
recently purchased Office Professional 2007. Can I install the one suite on
both computers or do I have to purchase two separate suites? Thanks in
advance. And again, I'm sorry if I'm wasting any body's time with such a
silly question.

You aren't wasting anyone's time but you can answer your own question by
doing a search for it on MS web site.

I'll give you the URL for their EULA for their products. Simply go there and
read.

http://www.microsoft.com/about/legal/useterms/

Click on the dropdown boxes for your exact product and you will get the
information you desire.

Got it. Thanks.
So after reading the documentation, I guess I can only use the suite on one
computer at a time. Should have known.

You should read your actual EULA because mine (for Office 2007 Professional)
says that I can install on one computer but also on a portable device that is
for the use of the same person who has it installed on their desktop.

So, instead of looking at a generic EULA, be sure to read yours:

To view the Microsoft Software License Terms for your product after it is
installed, do one of the following in these 2007 Microsoft Office system
programs:

Access, Excel, PowerPoint, or Word
Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Program Name Options,
where Program Name is the name of the program you are in, for example, Word
Options.
Click Resources, and then click About.
Click View the Microsoft Software License Terms.

In addition to my previous information, if you have an OEM version of
Office, yes, you can only install that on one device, i.e., computer. If
you have a retail version, you can install that on one device and one other
"portable device" for use by the primary user of the first device.

That URL is not for a generic EULA but will give EULAs for almost all of MS
products. If you looked in the dropdowns for Office 2007 Professional you
would see:

"MICROSOFT SOFTWARE LICENSE TERMS
2007 MICROSOFT OFFICE SYSTEM DESKTOP APPLICATION SOFTWARE
Below are three separate sets of License Terms. Only one set applies to
you. To determine which License Terms apply to you check the license
designation printed either on your product key, near the product name on
your
Certificate of Authenticity, or on the download page if you obtained your
product key online. If your designation is FPP, then the Retail License
Terms
below apply to you. If your designation is OEM, then the OEM License Terms
below apply to you. If your designation is MLK, then the Media-less License
Kit
Terms below apply to you.
If you need assistance finding your license type, please go to:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/eula to determine which license you have."

Oh wow!! Thank you everyone for all of that much needed information. Turns
out that I have an FPP license. That's awesome. So I guess I can install
Office on my laptop as well as my desktop. Great. Thanks for all the help!!
