Is it legal to use a borrowed copy of office with a legal license?

I bought a notebook with a genuine copy of office. But this software is
packed in the system restore disk, with no standalone CD. I uninstalled
it in the beginning but now I'd like to reinstall it. Because there's
no stand-alone CD, the only way is to restore the original system,
which is not what I want. Can I borrow a copy of office and install it
with my lisence?

Your version of Office is an OEM version. The OEM Product Key
will only work with an OEM version of Office and not a conventional
"Retail Version".

You need an OEM version of Office. I'd recommend that you contact the
vendor of your PC and ask for a disk. Good luck.
