Hi all ,

I'm looking for a neat way of storing my archived emails (rather than using
a .pst file).

Is it possible to export emails and attachments to an Access Database from
Outlook/Exchange ?
any help would be appreciated.

cheers,

Adam

Yes you can. You can use the Import/Export wizard from the File menu. You
can also choose from within Access to import from Outlook.

Hope this helps!

Hey Roady,

No, it doesn't. When you import from Access it will create a record which
reflects that there was an attachment by displaying a 1 for an attachment or
0 for no attachment.

You can check out these housekeeping tools.

Some will create a link to the attachment in the message body which of
course will be entered in the Access database.
