Is office 2007 new?

HI

I cant keep track of office releases. Im currently using office xp. Is
the office 2007 i see being sold a new version that has just been released
or could there be a office vista on its way?

I dont want to upgrade now to find a new version at the end of the year :/

Office 2007 was released to the general public on January 31, 2007. The
next version of Office will come in 2009.
So yeah, it's brand new

It is very much new and most people haven't started using it never mind
even bought it!!

Very optimistic!!! First we should get 2 service packs for 2007!!

Nothing like being told you're even more out of date than you thought, huh?

(My husband did that to me earlier - except I stated something that was
about 20 yrs old and no longer applies. I hate being that far out of it.)
