Is Ppt 2003 Compatible with Windows ME

I just bought Power Point 2003 but now I realize that it may not be compatiple with my Windows Millenium operating system.... does anyone know if it is compatilble

No it's not. It should say on the box that Office 2003, and PowerPoint
2003, require Windows 2000 Service Pack 3, Windows XP or later. Millenium
is not included.

I'm using XP Home Edition, and it will not recognize templates, although can start a new presentation. I haven't tried saving and reopening it, but suspect it might behave the same way that Word 2003 will not recognize documents on my PC. The packaging in which my Office 2003 arrived said nothing about compatibility with different operating systems, and I have not been able to find anything in the on-line help. Maybe similiar to what Juliette is experiencing?

Office 2003 and its components does run on Windows XP Home Edition.
Juliette has a different version of Windows, which is not supported. The
list of system requirements can be found at
http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/prodinfo/sysreq.mspx.

Sounds like you have a very different problem. Can you describe what type
of template you are trying to get it to recognize? The file extension of a
template is .POT. Is that what you are trying to open? What message do you
receive? Describe what is happening and we can probably help you.
