Is there a way to delete all actuals in a MSP file?

Dann

I would like to start with an existing plan as a template for a new project.
Is there an "easy" way to remove all of the actuals from (a copy of) the
existing plan?

Sure.
View, Table, Tracking
then show all tasks,
then type NA into the first Task actual start.
then ctrl-shift-down arrow to select the whole column.
then ctrl-D to fill down the NA into every Task.

Hi Dann,

I am assuming you are using Project 2002 or Project 2003.

If you take an existing Project file and Save As a template, Project
will prompt you about removing:

Values of all baselines
Actual Values
Resource Rates
Fixed Costs
Whether tasks have been published to Project Server (Project Pro only)

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Dann,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

The simplest way is from the Gantt Chart view, select the All button above
the ID column and then Project/Task Information.... General tab, enter a
zero in Percent complete.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
