is there a way to run a query as soon as you open the database

is there a macro that will run at the time when i open the database or
shortly there after, that i dont always have to manually run this query after
i open the database

Is this true for Excel files as well?

I want to open an Excel spreadsheet via the Task manager and have it
automatically refresh from a .txt file I have imported via the Data menu.
Will that work or do I have to use a batch file or something else?
