its not deleting emails

when i click delete on my email on my website account the email stays there
and a line goes through the email any one know how to get these emails in the
trash folder or any where elce they will move but they will stay in the inbox
folder

Your account is an IMAP account and that is how deleted messages appear in
Outlook for an IMAP message store. Click Edit>Purge Deleted Messages to
actually remove the messages from the server.
