Jpegs out of focus & Photo Shop option

Why do my jpeg files appear out of focus when I transfer them to Power Point?
Also, why doesn't Power Point allow me to import an Adobe Photo Shop image?

Thank you for your quick response. Seems silly doesn't it?

Do you know what format is best to save photos in to transfer to slides?

My preference is PNG.

I feel a bit out of the file lingo loop. I don't know what PNG is. I use
Photo Shop and AutoCAD so am more familiar with .psd & .dwg & .dxf files. I
will try some of the ones that PP supports. Can you tell I am fairly new to
PP? I have had the program for 4 years and am just now trandfering my
portfolio to it. I'm pretty computer literate but, this threw me for a loop.

Thanks again for your help.

In Photoshop, use the File > Save for Web option. The file formats available
there are JPG, GIF and PNG. PNG stands for Portable Network Graphics and it's
"lossless" as opposed to JPG which is lossy.

Ah, ok. Thanks again. That makes sense. I hadn't considered using the save
for web option.

You have been very helpful. Have a great evening.
