junkie words on the document

L

loren

Hi there,

I built my resume based on a friend's template. It
looked fine if opened in Word or print out. If I convert
the doc file to plain text I will see his name and some
other sentences at the end of the file. I tried header,
footer, displaying formatting. Nothing works. I could
not get rid of the junks. Any suggestion how I can find
the junkies when I opened it through Word?

Thanks.

Hi loren,

If sounds like the file was saved using Fast Saves or the File/Properties still contain his information.

What I would do is create a new document and use Insert/File to insert the contents of your file. I've found this strips the type of metadata you describe rather nicely.
