KB 832894 and Java errors

Since installing the KB 832894 security update yesterday, a web page that
never gave me any trouble before is suddenly producing Java errors on one of
its links. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Hi Bob,

What webpage? Are they java or javascript errors?
Have you disabled script debugging in the Advanced tab of Internet Explorer Tools settings?

The only change on my side was the installation of KB 832894. After
mentioning the problem to someone with access to the owner of the page's
ear, the problem went away. The actual error message was:

<quote>
Line: 154
Char: 1
Error: Syntax error
Code: 0
URL: http://not_the_real_url/xyzzy?action=plugh
</quote>
