Keeping words at the end of lines?

Hi,

I am trying to keep a "-c-" at the end of a line without the "-" breaking
off and going to the next line.

Ive tried using the Shift+Cntrl+- command but this just inserts a long
hyphen which is not what I want..

Any help appretiated..

Regards

Al.

My keyboard shortcuts (which I haven't changed from the defaults) have
Ctrl+_ for the non-breaking hyphen. If that doesn't work, go to Insert
- Symbol - Special Characters. The non-breaking hyphen is third in the
list.
