keyboard home

When I am in Word and I hit the home key on my keyboard it used to take me
back to the beginning of the line. Now it doesn't. What do I need to do to
fix this. The home key works in every program I have except Word. Also
control home used to take me back to the beginning of the document. It
doesn't anymore. How do I fix this?

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | uncheck the
"Navigation keys for WordPerfect users" box | OK.
