Leave a copy of messages on server settings lost

Hi,

Outlook 2002 keeps losing my Send/Receive settings.

I have opened:
Send/Receive settings / Define Group / Edit / Account
Properties / Advanced

and ticked Leave a copy of messages on server.

This works, but when I shut down Outlook my settings are
lost - I effectively have to reset my settings every time
I open Outlook.

Does anyone know of a fix for this bug?
