Levelling

What are the effects of levelling a schedule month by month in comparison to
levelling week by week. Is is correct to assume that the work content does
not change. How much over allocation is allowed by scheduling month by
month.

Hi J,

Leveling never changes work content, whatever the step.
In leveling month by nonth, leveling will only push for wrd work from a
resource if he/she is overallocated on a monthly base. When f.i. the load is
100 hrs on the first 5 days of the month and nothing thereafter, Leveling
month by month will leave that alone, whereas wek by week an overallocation
will be detected and leveling will act.

As Jan said - the "level by" entry simply tells Project what is the
smallest duration of overallocation it should worry about.
