Limiting the number of resources available

B

Bob Baltz

I use a resource pool to share resources across a number of projects.
However, any one project has a limited number of resources that can be used
at the same time.

Does anyone know how to limit the number of resources available to an
individual project without limiting the number of resources available in the
resource pool?

Thanks in advance
Bob

Hi Bob,

I'm sorry, the answer is no. If a resource exists in the resource pool
file, the resource is available to all projects using the pool file. The
coordination of the resource's utilization becomes a communication
issue.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
