line across the bottom of the drawing canvas

I created a half page "drawing" in Word, and there is a line across the
bottom of the drawing frame. After many attempts, I cannot remove it. Can
it be removed?

Make sure that no border has been applied to the canvas or the paragraph it
is in, that Underline is not applied to the paragraph, that Track Changes is
not on, etc.
