If you want all the buttons to be the same size, you have to create a new
copy of the theme and use bigger button images.
If you want the buttons to have different widths, depending on the button
text, select a text button style, surround each link with an HTML table,
assign a CSS class to the table, and code CSS rules like
table.nav a { ...style attributes...}
where nav is the CSS class name you assigned to the table.
