Our business is trying to create a master project file which utilizes
data from numerous other microsoft project files. In doing so we are
finding that the task % complete does not update in the master file.
We have many independed MS project files. Of these files we select
only the critical path tasks and link these into the master file
project. This allows the project managers to update thier individual
projects and the resource manager to see the updated critical project
information without doing anything. However, when the PM updates the %
complete in the individual file the master file does not update
automatically. Any ideas on how to do this?
We are using Microsoft Project Professional 2003.
