Linking Project chart in Powerpoint

I try to include a Project gantt chart in a Powerpoint presentation (as
OLE-link). There does not seem to be a way to adjust the displayed area of
the chart. I only get the first quarter displayed. Does somone have an idea
how this is possible?

AFAIK, not possible to use OLE. You can use the camera icon to move a
screen shot across, or create a file which can be imported. You can use
a macro to automate the creation of a Gantt Chart file, which then you
can automate in PPT to automatically update from the new file.

Where is a good place to initiate the macro, PPT or Project? what is the
first step?
