LOCAL VERSUS ONLINE UPDATE

R

RICHARD BROMBERG

I have two computers side by side. Computer A has windows xp media center
and the other (Computer B) has xp professional.

Both have Office 2000 professional installed.

To update a website using Computer B, I open the web page using intrnet
explorer Version 6 and click on "file" and then on "Edit with Microsoft
frontpage" and a screen opens where I enter my username and password and
Frontpage opens the online files. I can then do normal editing functions and
save the edited files by clicking File / save or merely closing Frontpage.
This is my preferred method.

Unfortunately on Computer A, when I open the page in in Internet explorer
version 6 and click on "file" and then on "Edit with Microsoft frontpage" ,
a differant process occurs. A local copy of the webpage opens. The address
of the local copy is
C:\Documents and Settings\dick.DELLE520\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Filecontent.ie5\DBZ3TLK\xxxx.htm .
I can recognize parts of this address, dick is logged on and the computer
name is DELLE520, DBZ3TLK is a temporary fiolder name and xxxx.htn is the
file I am editing.

What changes do I have to make on Computer A to make it give me access to
the online files instead of the local files.?
